Footnote for stats level (format FSL) appeared in CSV tables even if not used, use 2012.1b or above.

CL had a problem punching records greater than 60,000. Use 2011.2a or later if you do this.

SPSS export with " (speech marks) in text sometimes caused problems.  Please use version 2011.1d or later if you do this.

CSV tables output containing +t tables with statistics. Please use version 2010.2d or later if you do this.

Concatinating cvars may have failed if the cvars are not full. Please use version 2010.2a or later if you do this.

The EXPORT RCP may have failed with the O= RCP.  Please use version 2010.1a or later if you do this.

Testing substrings from cvars may have failed if the substring contains trailing blanks. Please use version 2010.2a or later if you do this.

Long CK command could cause problems.  Please use version 2009.2h or later if you have long CK (check) commands.

A problem was reported with the %STA manip function. If you use this function please use version 2009.2e or later. You can get round this problem in earlier releases by including (C0-$) after the table name referred to in the function call:

... =%sta(#table(c0-$)),

A problem was reported with ID= on tables. If you use this feature this please use 2008.2d or later.

QPSMR Reflect compatibility

Reflect version 2009.2a or above is needed to access files exported using CL version 2009.2a and above.

Reflect version 2008.1g or above is needed to access files exported using CL version 2008.1g and above.

There may be a problem exporting older databases with newer versions of Reflect. Older versions of Reflect can be downloaded if this is a problem.

Other known problems

The % character should not be used in text if you wish to print your tables using a proportional font (as spaces will be inserted after the % sign at the print stage).

When including a logo on your tables, it is not possible to use a 24 bit BMP.

If a variable has a completely empty item text this will cause table text using the entry to be misaligned. Use <1> for empty texts.

It may not be possible to include some special characters in a project file name or in the path:

  • full stop
  • quotation mark
  • speech mark
  • open parenthesis
  • close parenthesis
