Important: because Excel is confused by cells beginning with - or + the significance markers put out to CSV tables are now always preceded by a space.

For example a marker of "aB" will now be output as " aB".

QPSMR Reflect databases are now file type QRFX.  Users are advised to keep Reflect 2017.2e installed for old databases in addition to the latest version.

Note: CATI Projects with more than 1 TELNUM need Telin 2018.1b or above.

Tables (QTF) files created in 2016.1 or above will need 2016.1 or above Reflect, or the "2016 filters" turned off in tables global.

The QPSMR Companion should be used for:

  • To set up projects (QDF)
  • For data entry of paper and CAPI projects
  • To handle data files
  • To apply weighting
  • For imports and exports
  • Data drill down
  • To run a command language setup (STP)

The Companion has two important features that can be used without a licence:

  • Use a qpsmrinp file to input CAPI/paper data.
  • Use a qpsmran file produce simple tables and distinction analysis with Data Drill Down.

2018.1 release

  • 2018.1t. A 64 bit version of QPSMR CL is available
  • Tests against the total (SHG0) and other columns (SHG1-3) can be done at the same time (SGH11-13)
  • Up to 15 digits can be used for integers (use DJ instead of DI in CL if more than 9 digits)
  • Up to 3 telephone numbers can be used to retrieve CATI sample records using a Winsock dialler.

2017.2 release

  • CSV tables with separate row for column identifiers now show additional (+...+) columns beings tested

2017.1 release

  • Unicode projects will generate a Unicode (not UTF8) STP
  • Improvements to the CATI predictive dialler protocol
  • Improvements for CATI records with multiple telephone numbers

2016.2 release

  • New options on tables worksheet to show all filters applied to table
  • New CL PP command [*ask(m) outputds=inputds] which allows multiselect; outputds contains 0 or 1 for each item in the list
  • Decimal places for weight entries used in carry forward text and data storage (set in QPSMR Companion)

2016.1 release

  • 2016.1f. Option to hide telephone numbers and have up to 3 numbers per record
  • Filter as rows (and columns) now moved to table worksheet.  Additional filters can be added to these automatic filters
